100 push up challenge
one of my goals in life is to be able to do a real pull up. i think that goal is slipping farther and farther away with each passing year haha, but what're you going to do. in slight deviation, but i guess in pursuance of this goal, i decided to partake in this little mini workout program. i had been doing this rocking back on my arms thing a la pilates that i think was supposed to get rid of the under arm fat jiggle, but i don't think it was doing anything, and so i decided to try something new ::jiggle jiggle:: or else i'm doing it wrong; i'm probably doing it wrong.

anyways! here it is: http://hundredpushups.com/ at the end of the six weeks, i'm supposed to be able to do 100 consecutive pushups! [oh! fitness goal #2: be able to do pushups where when i push up, i'm able to do a clap with my hands, and then i go back down. i tried once in high school and nearly broke my face.]
on my diagnostic, i was able to do 11 pushups, so i guess i'm at 11%. i was initially a little proud of myself because i really pushed myself to get through numbers 10 and 11, but when i proudly told a guy friend he looked at me blankly. i guess it's not that great of a score haha.
i'm more or less on my second week; you do four sets every other day, so you can get through the exercise in 5 - 10 minutes. though it's not easy! or at least, i haven't found it easy. a girl reviewing the program said that she was able to see noticeable results in two weeks, i.e. slimmer and more toned arms. good for her, i am not there yet.
this is unrelated, but someone suggested i post more of my own pictures rather than jacking the photos of others, so here you go (btw, they are all old pics because i never upload them):
